A handcrafted Ikat fabric created by master weavers in Myanmar. This unique design uses heritage skills passed down through generations of Ikat artisas in Inle Lake, Shan State. The process requires hand tying and dying each individual coloured section of yarn, before hand weaving the dyed yarn into a fabric.
We are working with women weavers across Myanmar’s ethnic groups, celebrating their sense of community and identity as well as the exceptional craftmanship embedded in their textiles. Our charitable mission supports the weavers to earn sustainable income and helps preserve Myanmar’s diverse textile traditions.
