Atmospher Faza
Turquoise Mountain presents the limited-edition collection of carpets from the exhibition Weaving Poems, a showcase of the talent of women weavers in Afghanistan and the Afghan-born, Amman-based designer Maryam Omar. Together, they have been commissioned by Qatar Museums to create a series of abstract carpets inspired by the rich oral heritage of weaving communities in Bamiyan, on display at Design Doha 2024.
This design will be produced in a limited-edition of ten. Carpets may be ordered in exhibition size, 270 x 360 cm. (9 x 12 ft.), and 300 x 420 cm. (10 x 14 ft.). Custom sizes are available at an additional cost.
